Traci Lacy is the Associate Director of Partnership Services whose primary responsibility is to provide faculty members and departmental staff information and guidance in the development and processing of international academic agreements that document and outline cooperative activity related to student and faculty exchange and the development of research projects. Ms. Lacy provides an initial review of documents and oversees the administrative processing of international Memorandum Agreement documents. Ms. Lacy is assisting Public Partnership & Outreach in the development of an interactive database that will facilitate archiving and reporting Texas A&M University's international activity. In addition, she is designated as the University’s Fulbright Scholar Liaison and with the Dean of Faculties’ Office, hosts an annual Fulbright Workshop intended to inform and guide faculty as they begin their Fulbright journey. Coinciding with the Fulbright Workshop, Ms. Lacy, with the Fulbright Association, holds an annual reception honoring Fulbright Scholars: Past, Present, and Future. Ms. Lacy also provides administrative support for the International Programs Committee of the Faculty Senate.
Ms. Lacy presented to a delegation representing 90 countries titled, “Mapping a Global Footprint through the Development of a Comprehensive Database” at the 2015 MoveON Conference held in London, England. She also co-presented a two part workshop titled, “Outcomes-Driven Strategic Planning: New Skills for the International Education Leader” at the 2016 Region III NAFSA Conference held in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Ms. Lacy graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics. Before she began her work at Public Partnership & Outreach she was a Transit Supervisor at Transportation Services.
Gracie Lara is the Executive Assistant for Partnership Services to the Executive Director-Public Partnership & Outreach Effectiveness. In addition to this role, she provides administrative support for Public Partnership & Outreach (PPO) and supports other PPO staff and Texas A&M University workgroups. She serves as liaison with signature partner Hacienda Santa Clara in Mexico for faculty, staff and administrators. As the Executive Assistant for Partnership Services, Gracie also maintains the Global Program Support, Continuing & Professional Education, the Soltis Center at Costa Rica, and Mexico Partnership Services websites.
Gracie provides various reports, presentations and university publications for PPO and works with the Education Abroad office to expedite and document vendor contracts; conducts research, compiles and applies information to fulfill data requests and creates reports related to student mobility, as well as assist with general office support duties.
