Institute for Pacific Asia Hosts Informal Gathering for Hong Kong Aggies

College Station - Five Hong Kong Aggies met with Carmen Suen, Program Coordinator of the Institute for Pacific Asia (IPA) at Texas A&M University, on July 12 and 13, 2008 in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong to discuss ways to engage Hong Kong Aggies in future club activities. This is part of IPA’s ongoing effort to develop and strengthen the network of Aggie Clubs across Asia.IPA had successfully helped Aggies in China and the Philippines to host Muster in April 2008.”Currently, there are 11 Aggie Clubs in the region, including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand. picture The five Hong Kong Aggies who attended the gathering are Dr. Peter Yu, Hong Kong Associated Professor at the Polytechnic University, Dr. Yik-Chung Wu, Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong, Marcos Bertamini, Pilot at Cathay Pacific Airways, Anson Wong, an accountant, and Lai-Ming Ng, who is a stay-home mom. picture Please visit Aggie Clubs in Asia
