The National Science Foundation (NSF) recently awarded $4 million to the Texas A&M University System Louis Stokes STEM Pathways and Research Alliance (LSAMP). Awarded funds are to implement programmatic initiatives in order to increase engagement and enhance the success of underrepresented minority students in STEM. Research conducted will explore the impact of research mentoring on underrepresented minority student success in STEM, including motivation in long-term goals.
