Colleges and departments are responsible for assessing student learning outcomes, including Undergraduate Learning Outcome at the University level. One of these is focused on global learning.

Demonstrate social, cultural, and global competence, including the ability to:

  • Live and work effectively in a diverse and global society
  • Articulate the value of a diverse and global perspective
  • Recognize diverse economic, political, cultural and religious opinions and practices

There are a variety of external resources available to faculty members related to assessment of global learning. Furthermore, Texas A&M University's Center for Teaching Excellence has information and other resources about how to develop and assess all learning outcomes.
